"7 Must-Eat Sandwiches in Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero - JLB Picks"

Jean Le Boeuf of North Naples Daily
August, 2018

"Naples: The Twang — Slicers: Remember those childhood days when you'd crumple up a bag of Doritos and then dump the crunchy flakes all over the insides of your bologna sandwich? Those were the good 'ol days. But the good old days live on at Slicers in North Naples, where Mesquite BBQ chip crumbles are all wrapped up in thinly sliced chicken breast with onion, white American cheese and a spread of honey dijon. The Twang is my favorite at Slicers, but just about every hoagie off the menu has me swooning. (13020 Livingston Road, Suite 15, North Naples; 239-280-0703; slicershoagies.com)."

"Slicers Does Hoagies Right."

Dorothea Hunter Sönne of Gulfshore Life
August, 2018

"When you want a textbook deli sandwich or something with a bit more funk (think: crushed chips and sriracha mayo), it’s hard to go wrong at this Naples shop."

"The guys at Slicers Hoagies, in the Marquesa Plaza on the southeast corner of Pine Ridge and Livingston, know how to make a killer sandwich. The real question is what to get. Should you pick a classic, like “The Slicer” with turkey, roast beef and ham? Or should you indulge in something that someone almost definitely came up with a case of the munchies, like the toasted “Duh Durc” that tops meatballs, provolone and Parmesan with honey Dijon and Nacho Doritos?"

"Slicers in North Naples Does Hoagies Right."

Shelby Reynolds of North Naples Daily
June, 2017

"Fresh ingredients are king at the new local sandwich shop that opened in February in the Marquesa Plaza. Opened by 27-year-old south Florida native William Francis, Slicers Hoagies, located on the southeast corner of Livingston and Pine Ridge roads, was designed to provide a homey and friendly atmosphere.

The message above the door says it all: "Arrive a customer, leave a friend."

Anyone who makes a hoagie like that is a friend in my book."
